Saturday night, Hannah’s team, the Devils, played during the first RiverKings intermission and won! She laid down to block a shot with her body and it was perfect! Everyone in our section of the DCC was on their feet!!! Go Hannah!

And in other hockey news, here’s a photo of one of my favorite humans,
DLo

RiverKings Michael Dilorenzo. Mad props to D’Lo for leaving the crease to defend Paul McBrien, in one of the many fights of the night.

Our insurance sucks! I have faxed and called so much, my fingers are bleeding. We have two seperate issues; they’re not paying on my broken foot saying it could have been a pre-existing condition (***waving the bullshit flag***) and they say that, AGAIN, they haven’t gotten proof of prior coverage. I am at a loss!!!!

Even if you’re not a Chuck Norris fan, this is too funny to pass up.

An example: “Chuck Norris has counted to infinity. Twice.”

I’m not asking for much, but if you could see your way to granting us with a few things, it would be greatly appreciated.
If you could please make sure that nothing happens to our workhorse, Derek Landmesser, I would be very grateful.
I would also love to see a few more breakaway opportunities. Not a lot, just a few. :)
Please grant us some fair, balanced refs with good eyesight (I know, that may be asking too much).
Help the RiverKings remember to play THEIR game, not their opponents.
Lead them not to defend, but attack.

May our skating be fierce, our sticks be mighty, and our puck always find it’s way into our opponent’s net.

Many thanks from this hockey fan,
Chris
