‘Kings sign All-Star forward

The Memphis RiverKings already have one of the top offenses in the Central Hockey League.

Now they have one more dynamic piece to add to the puzzle.

Coach Kevin McClelland’s squad announced the signing of three-time CHL All-Star forward Chad Woollard on Wednesday.

The eight-year pro is no stranger to the league, spending five seasons with the Fort Worth (now Texas) Brahmas from 2000 to 2005.

The 6-3, 210-pound Woollard has tallied 218 goals and 219 assists in 475 career games. He spent the last two seasons in the United Hockey League with the Quad City Mallards.
