Those wacky Oklahoma coaches
This past Saturday, Oklahoma City Blazer’s head coach Doug Sauter, coach of the Central Hockey League’s Oklahoma City Blazers, was at the state fair, enjoying a horse show.
Suddenly, a Belgian horse broke free and spooked other horses, Sauter said Monday. He leaped into action and bit the ear of one of the spooked horses.
“That’s how you stymie a horse,” he said. “You bite as hard as you can, and it won’t move.”
And then there’s Mike Gundy, the coach of the OSU football team, who blew a gasket Saturday ranting about the press.
How not to treat your Wiimotes
The Becknell family from Loveland, CO became extremely concerned when their 3 year old Labrador Retriever started spiting up blood. The X-rays from there emergency visit to the vet showed a mass in the dogs stomach. After reviewing the X-rays with family they agreed it was probably an old remote that they had been letting the dog use as a chew toy. (more…)
