Ramblings of the Mad Cow

A recent study found the average American walks about 900 miles per year.

Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer a year.

That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind of makes you proud to be an American.

It’s so tough.  My job just keeps me hopping.  Look at the horrible place they’re sending me next week:

Hey, just wanted to pass along some info, since my bloggering has definitely been suffering.  I’m bustin’ my hump to get myself into a new position, within the same company, and it’s meant a ton of work and travel.  Before as just the basic Jr Network admin I had all kinds of time on my hands and a basic 8-5 kind of job.  Now I’ve got on-going projects, deadlines and travel out the wazoo.  I’m definitely having to learn the hard way.  This job in marketing is definitely what I want to do, don’t get me wrong.  It’s like I’ve finally got a grown up job.  But it means that I have got to work, a lot, and harder.  I could do my old job in my sleep.  Now I feel like I’m amping up on java just to keep my head above water.  I’ll get used to it eventually.  Then I can go back to be the same smartass blogger you all know and love.
