Bored kids and psychotic kitties

So the kids are out of school for the second straight day, and they’re already bored. Â And me regaling them with stories about my childhood and finding joy playing with mud and sticks doesn’t seem to impress them. Â This is going to be a long summer.
And on top of that, we have Socks issues. Â He’s always been a little flaky, but here lately he’s really gone off the deep end. Â Not only has he completely forgotten how to use a litter box, he’s not sleeping right and he’s even more scared than ever. Â He’s so jumpy the slightest noise freaks him completely out. Â He’s going to the vet tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed, for his sanity, and ours!
We could spend hours making drumsticks out of mud and sticks. Don’t even get me started on the mud pies. Good times! Good times! (Good luck with the cat!)
Me too! I just used to play instruments, make stick people in mud forts and all kinds of stuff. And when we lived near any kinds of woods (it could be two trees and a patch of grass) I was in hog heaven.
