Somehow I was able to convince my bosses (fabulous men, all) that I need an iPhone. It’s true, I do need it. I need to be able to view real web pages where my ads or flash, etc might appear, one the fly. The mobile version doesn’t cut it. So there is a true need there. But I for sure didn’t think they’d go for it.
They did and it’ll be here tomorrow! So I get to hand in this crummy crapberry and get a fun, er, I mean business essential, phone tomorrow!

DEMOCRAT
You have two cows.
Your neighbor has none.
You feel guilty for being successful.

You push for higher taxes so the government can provide cows for everyone.

REPUBLICAN
You have two cows.
Your neighbor has none.
So?

SOCIALIST
You have two cows.
The government takes one and gives it to your neighbor.
You form a cooperative to tell him how to manage his cow.

COMMUNIST
You have two cows.
The government seizes both and provides you with milk.
You wait in line for hours to get it.
It is expensive and sour

CAPITALISM, AMERICAN STYLE
You have two cows.
You sell one, buy a bull, and build a herd of cows.

BUREAUCRACY, AMERICAN STYLE
You have two cows.
Under the new farm program the government pays you to shoot one, milk the other, and then pours the milk down the drain.

AMERICAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You sell one, lease it back to yourself and do an IPO on the 2nd one.
You force the two cows to produce the milk of four cows. You are surprised when one cow drops dead. You spin an announcement to the analysts stating you have downsized and are reducing expenses.
Your stock goes up.

A veteran player with years of experience at several levels of professional hockey, including the National Hockey League, makes his initial appearance in the Central Hockey League with the Mississippi RiverKings this season. Center Jeff Nelson has signed to play for the RiverKings, marking his 16th American pro hockey season in a career that includes three seasons in the NHL with the Washington Capitals and the Nashville Predators.
Six-foot and 180 pounds, Nelson was drafted by the Capitals as a second-round selection (number 36 overall) in the 1991 NHL Entry Level Draft. His first action with the Caps came in the 1994-95 season, when he played briefly with the club, scoring a goal in ten games.

The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native was back with Washington for 33 games the next season (1995-96), where he totaled seven assists and also played in three playoff games. From there, he joined Nashville as a free agent for the Preds’ initial season in the NHL, where he played in nine games, scoring two goals and adding an assist.

The left-handed shooting Nelson’s major career contributions to the score sheet have come in the AHL with Portland, where he scored 107 points (34 goals, 73 assists) in his first season with the Pirates in their Calder Cup championship season of 1993-94. He was back at it again the following season, netting 33 goals and 83 points in the 1994-95 campaign for the Pirates.

Well, I heard back from Gloria at the local Comcast office in Mempis today, and she was much nicer. She said she had an inquiry from us about cable, and she verified all our info. Then she called the construction group and called me back and said it’s still no good. So I still have a cable modem on the way that I can’t use, but at least she was sweeter about it. Oh well, your loss Comcast!
