Things I love/hate about my drive
I work right where Germantown and Memphis meet, and I live in Hernando, MS. I knew when I took the job that it wouldn’t be a short commute. No big. But there are things that local drivers, city personnel and civil engineers are doing to make it worse. So I’m going to point those out here now, in hopes that some local hotshot will read this and care (not at all likely to happen, I know).

Let me start by saying that my drive in is ten times easier than my drive home. I come in early to avoid the mess. Usually the only time I get held up at all is on the way home. So 99.99% of the time, my drive in makes me a very happy cow.
Then I get to spend my work day dreading the drive home.
New layout is a winner
Will did a fantastic job (of course) and got my blog all setup wonderfully! I’m loving the new layout, and ready to go on rambling! Be sure to visit a51web to see what else he’s working on.

Rainbow last night
I took this at the Hernando High band hall, at Parent’s Night. It’s certainly not as exciting as a double rainbow, but it made me smile.

Redbirds Military Appreciation Games
The Redbirds are honoring Vets this Memorial Day with some great ticket discounts for Monday afternoon’s game. You can download the ticket order form here
We’ll be there. I’ll be the goober in a knee brace behind the big camera!
